It seems as though Halloween officially kicks off the fall season. Kids and adults alike look forward to this time of year. Each year that passes it seems as though there are more and more trunk or treat events all over the Dallas – Fort Worth Metroplex. This year I heard about a trunk or treat event at the downtown square in my hometown, Garland, Texas. This event was hosted by Instrinsic Smokehouse & Brewery , Lifewell Church , (which if you’re looking for a place to worship and feel welcome, I suggest you visit. However, I’m a little bias because I absolutely love this church) , Church @ the Square , and The Foundry Church. In my opinion these types of events provide a great alternative to walking throughout neighborhoods going door to door. I decided to photograph this event and provide free portraits for those who were interested. I love being able to share my talent with others. As the holidays are approaching it’s a reminder for me to really reflect on life as I lost both my parents during the holiday time.  When you start to lose people close to you, you realize that life is precious, you learn to treasure each moment, don’t take people for granted, time waits for no-one, be present, and be a present. I run a semi part-time photography business, and I greatly appreciate anyone who is willing to bless me with their hard-earned money so that I can provide portraits for them. However, at this point in my life I am less concerned with business and more concerned with capturing moments! Below are some of my favorite images from the event on Sunday! Be blessed! Happy holidays!
